We are sad to announce that after being in business for over 11 years, we have shut our doors for good.

For those who don't know our story, SwitchBox was launched in 2002 on the corner of Macleod Trail and Heritage Drive in a small space with only 20 PCs. Over the years we grew, and in 2004 we opened our second location in Cambrian Village Mall with 30 PCs. We continued to grow, and maximized the space in Heritage Plaza with 41 PCs before deciding to move that location to our current space in Southland Crossing, that houses close to 70 PCs. At one point, SwitchBox had 120 PCs on it's LAN which extended across the city, between our 2 locations!

In 2004, SwitchBox won 2 amazing awards:

- Canadian Youth Business Foundation's Best New Business 2004
- Calgary Chamber of Commerce's Emerging Enterprise of the Year 2004

The team that created SwitchBox and made it what it is today no longer have the time required to properly run the business. This was the hardest decision Rob, Steve, and Shane have ever had to make. We would like to thank all of our customers that we have gained over the years for their support. Without you, we couldn't have made SwitchBox the best LAN Gaming Center in Calgary.
