This group is for the gamemode SpaceAge Rebirth, which is currently in development. It has been rewritten from scratch and currently has many of the features the original SpaceAge had.

In SpaceAge, you build ships and equip them with special mining equipment and fly out into space to find objects you can mine. You can currently mine asteroids and ice, but we plan on adding more in the future. After you have acquired what you have mined, you may return to the space station to sell your ore and earn money.

With this money you can do whatever you want. How about giving some cash to your friend who is in need of that new mining laser?
Or maybe you prefer to upgrade your own equipiment to mine faster or bring home more.

When you mine and sell things, you get score. You can use this score to compete with others and eventually get to the first place in the leaderboards (The leaderboards are currently not implemented, but we are working on it)
