For ensuring clean connections between distant sites, please keep the following standard wall/floor alignments in mind:

In the Y (vertical) direction, place floor blocks such that **when you are standing on them**, the F3 Y-axis indicator shows 65.62 +/- 4x (... 61.62...65.62...69.62...etc)

In the X (South-North) direction, place walls such that, when standing on them, the F3 X-axis indicator shows 0+4x (0...4...8...12...etc.) in the positive direction, or -3-4x (-3...-7...-11...etc.) in the negative direction. The reason for the discrepancy is that Minecraft has both a 0 and a -0 coordinate. Note that positive values are *south* in Minecraft.

In the Z (West-East) direction, place walls such that, when standing on them, the F3 Z-axis indicator shows 0+4x (0...4...8...12...etc.) in the positive direction, or -3-4x (-3...-7...-11...etc.) in the negative direction. Note that positive values are *west* in Minecraft.


Summary:

When standing on a block:

Floors: 65.62 +/- 4x (...61.62...65.62...69.62)
Walls - positive: 0+4x (0...4...8...12...16...etc.)
Walls - negative: -3-4x (-3...-7...-11...-15...etc.)

You don't need to make every wall/floor align with these coordinates but try to align outer structures at any particular site to those numbers for easy underground linkups between sites.

Terraria is back up. It is only accessible currently through Hamachi VPN. If you need the network information please contact me. The server is only up so that people can retrieve their items. A new world already exists at port 6666.

Also JT has almost got the Minecraft server at modernartifice.org set. Look for more info soon.

Hey everyone, just wanted to put some info up.

Firstly, looks like Bastok.org got moved smoothly to it's new IP. If you are having issues with Mumble, let Thevenin or myself know.

Secondly, Terraria:
The Terraria server has been down most of this week and will be down through the weekend mostly likely. Please enjoy single player mode in the meantime. If this changes sooner rather than later, I will let everyone know via another announcement.

Thirdly, EVE Online:
SDN Industries updates are posted by me in game, but for everyone's knowledge: We have sold our tritanium stock as prices shifted in our favor. Additionally, SAS Assassin has been promoted to Communications and Security Officer, and has access to hangars for auditing. Thevenin has also opened our R&D division, but we have a way to go before it is properly up and running. Lastly, keep your eyes peeled for deals on the marketplace.

Everyone has been picking up new games here and there. If you see anyone with a game you own, don't be afraid to jump in, even if you don't interact with each other on a regular basis. We might not know everyone personally, but we are all members of SDN, and that this BINDS FOR LYFE YO.
