New Group

We're migrating to a new Steam Group called Smurfy Fortress.

Please go over to http://steamproxy.net/groups/smurfy-tf2 and join up :)

I'll get around to inviting all of the current members as well but it will take a few days.

Why?

I stupidly named the current group "Smurfy MvM" and Steam does not allow group name changes. Since we've now expanded to regular TF2 and PropHunt it makes sense to make the group name more generic.

As you all joined a MvM group you might be concerned that we are shifting away from MvM -- not so! We're just adding more varieties of fun, MvM is definitely sticking around. :)

MvM #1 has moved to 119.252.191.230:27025

I've rented a proper server now so this should be the last time it moves for the foreseeable future, yay!

I'll also be adding two new servers later today/tomorrow:

PropHunt server 119.252.191.230:27035
24p regular TF2 119.252.191.230:27015

PropHunt is a hide and seek mod. One team plays as props, e.g. you might spawn as a Pile of Hay, or a Milk Jug, and you have to hide. The other team plays usually as pyro, and runs around looking for the props :) It's good fun.

Ah the heatmaps isnt really that important. And wowzer, those guys are fast at getting things working aren't they.

Halloween mode isn't working anymore. Probably stopped working when u changed the server.

Dramz: good point - according to http://www.gameme.com/stats/dev they added MvM support almost immediately after launch, woot :) Only ♥♥♥♥♥♥ is they don't currently support heatmaps for many of the custom maps.

I didn't know gameME had support for mvm maps. I'd love it if it did though, give me more incentive to play (more than my bots killed counter on my minigun :P), I'm a slut for stats xD

I played yesterday, It was hard as hell and fun. And that is what MvM should be.

Yep definitely thinking of using gameME but I'll set that up once we stabilise the servers (I'm trialing a bunch of different hosts right now).

I don't know how to make maps, only how to trawl the Internets for others' MvM maps :) Lemme know if you come across any maps you wanna try!
