What is the Skalisty Republic?

The Skalisty Republic is an newly-formed survivor colony located on Skalisty Island [dayzdb.com](Russian for Rock Island) in southeastern Chernarus. The island is home to a small village with a dock/boathouse, freshwater pump, lighthouse, and a radio tower. The northern half of the island is covered in trees and foliage, while the southern half is more open, with fields. At it's longest point, the island is 740m. At it's widest, it's close to 950m.

The town of Skalisty has 5 buildings.
Boathouse/Docks – arrival and departure point via boat.
Medical Clinic - for medical treatments and supplies.
Food House - for all types of cuisine.
Clothing House - for hats, socks, and everything in-between.
Gear House - for assorted survival gear (maps, flares, matches etc.)

After you've checked out the town, feel free to set up your camp in the southeastern fields. This area is surrounded by trees, providing ample firewood. With the addition of farming, this area can also be used to grow crops for the island’s residents. Finally, there’s the Gathering Hill. This is an open hilltop in the center of the island. It can be used for bonfires/cookouts, meetings, games, and other communal activities.

- Acts of banditry such as stealing or murder will not be tolerated, and is cause for being shot on site.
- Skalisty Island is a cannibal free zone!
- Only SSF can enter the northern 'militarized zone' of the island (unless you are passing through to or from the mainland).

- Let us know when you are crossing over to the island and from which direction. We will assume players are hostile and may shoot on site if you do not announce yourself.
