It has been a while since the last announcement.

As many of you may know, my activity on the servers has been miniscule to none and development on the servers has been on halt for a while now.

To put it simply: I don't have time to manage the servers anymore and have had a lack of interest in Garrysmod for a while now. This is the same for my Co-owner as well (CorvoSnow). For the past year or so I have left the servers up because I know people enjoy to go on them and don't want to take that experience away.

The community we have established since 2014 has been a pleasure to be a part of and I have put this announcement off for as long as I possibly could because I don't want to see it die. However, since as of recent I have moved states and am in progress of settling for a new job and a permanent place of residence. This simply leaves no time at all, even if I wanted to, for maintaining the servers.

This isn't potentially a permanent farewell, everything related to the server will be backed up and frozen in time ready to revived whatever the situation.

Important information for the community

The servers will be shut down on 4/30/19. This includes SCI 1/2 and basewars as well as anything related to the forums and donations. The discord server as well as the steam group will still be here, but will probably not be maintained.

Donations will be closed as soon as this announcement is posted. No refunds will be issued. The shutdown is more than 2 months away and there will plenty of time for donors to have fun with their perks.

Just to be clear, the servers will not be for sale and any offers will be declined

I thank everyone, both veterans of the server and new players alike for the journey we have had together. It has been fun and I certainly am sad to see it come to an end.

Some of you may have noticed that media players are not longer working. The reason for this is that Youtube has stopped supporting old systems of encoding that the addon used to display videos.

There is a temporary workaround while an update to Garrysmod (which is in the works) is released that will contain a fix to the problem.

Player Conduct Rules
1. No witchhunting, or harrasment towards another player.
2. Racism will not be tolerated.
3. Nobody is better than anyone else, we're all kids playing on a server. So if someone with a higher rank bullys anyone report it.
4. Follow staff orders, if you believe a staff member is out of line report it to a owner; Ickycoolboy and or CorvoSnow.
5. People are young, get over it. If you bully or harass someone due to sounding young you're not cool or tough, report it to a staff member.

Wac Rules
1. Shooting airborne WAC's from ground requires permission. Unless the wac shoots at people on the ground first.
2. Do not shoot WAC's in noclip.
3. Do not shoot grounded WAC's.
4. Civilian WAC's are not permitted to be attacked in any case. (Aircraft without weaponry) unless they are carrying a gbomb, in which case makes them armed.
5. Airborne armed WAC's can be shot down by any player or other flying WAC's without permission. However rule #4 still stands civilian wac are exempt from being shot.

Server Rules
1. Do not noclip to kill.
2. Do not damage other players entities or props without permission.
3. Do not micspam, a mute may be issued.
4. Do not advertise other servers in this server.
5. Do not harass other players.
6. If someone tells you to stop doing something to them you must stop. However RDM is excluded.
7. Respect all staff members.
8. Do not impersonate staff.
9. Do not prop block important map places such as doorways or spawn. (if it is keypad accessible then its alright)
10. Do not trap other player's spawns.
11. Do not put your spawn in another player's base without permission.
12. Do not ride props.
13. Do not prop kill.
14. Do not prop push.
15. Do not go in skybox or attempt to.
16. Escaping jail is an immediate ban.
17. Do not take major parts of the map. Use common logic to realize what a major part of a map is.
18. Do not place anything on train tracks, other than trains and train cars.
20. Do not gravity gun other player's vehicles.
21. Do not derail other player's trains.
22. Do not kill in godmode or noclip. That includes with gbombs.
23. Do not use the goto or scale commands to enter player bases.
24. Do not use nocollide on vehicles for the purpose of entering player's bases.
25. Do not target unarmed Simfphys vehicles.
26. Do not delete your Simfphys vehicle before you are about to die.

PAC Rules
1. Do not use pacs which spam console commands.
2. Do not use pacs that change the hitbox in anyway. Must be normal human sized hitbox.
3. Do not use pacs that make you invisible or near invisible you must always be normally visable.
4. Do not use pacs that are meant to obstruct player's views.
5. Use of pacs that make your character smaller are not permitted for killing purposes.
6. Do not use pacs to enter player's bases.

RDM Rules
1. Do not spawn kill
3. If you kill someone, anyone can return the favor.

Gbomb rules
1. 1 nuke at once at all times then you must wait 10 minutes to detonate another. That means 1 nuke total.
2. If someone tells you to stop attacking them with Gbombs then stop.
3. Gbomb spam is warnable.

Rules when staff are on
1. All of them, we see everything if you think you can get away with breaking a rule you wont.
1. Do not vote to ban or kick someone! Ask the staff to... they can help!
2. Staff Members with Higher Rank Have The Final Say on Arguments
( i.e. Admin's word over-rules moderator word)

Alright, so way back when, when we had issues with the rp groups we had thought it was under control. But as of today a senior admin brought to my attention that there is a group known as "United Legion of SCI" who are trying to get the group as a whole to really all in all mess up our server. This is one of their group announcements;

"Black Chariot is a major offensive operation not for the defense of SCI Servers, but against SCI Servers as a whole. After being forced out of SCI for means of safety for our members, we are returning after months of exile. We do not expect to return after this operation. The entire Coalition is participating in this, and we expect YOU to be there too. Every and all weapons are deploying here. Destroy any and all opposition."

If you are associated with this group, we have no other action than to permanently ban you off of all our servers. If you like to play on these servers leave the group now or you will be part of this. We do not by any means condone mass banning, i think it's absolutely unneeded and to extensive but it's what needs to be done.

You will have until 9:30 EST to leave the group and change any and all afiliations of said group. We have all players marked down so we dont suggest going against this.
