Listen up boys and girls! I've got a message about hackers and hacking. Please be sure to let everyone know to read it and try to understand.

The following comes from a past hacker. Me.
I'm Toast, the leader of sM, and I used to hack. When I was playing MW2, a good few years ago, I used wallhacks and aimbot. That was back then, when nearly everyone was a hacker, and I couldn't handle it. I was young and desperate. I can completely understand the mindset of hackers, and why they would choose to stoop so low as to ruin the game with a third-party program that assists greatly with aim and general knowledge of every player's position.

For those who do not hack, hackers are a huge problem on a specific game's community; hackers just ruin the game by making it really unfair and one-sided. Those who don't hack wish they could take revenge on these hackers, and some go out of their way to find hacks for themselves to "out-hack" the hackers. This is something we, ultimately, have to try and avoid. Though it is completely unfair on those who practice and improve their skills in the game, hackers will always exist in games where skill is a requirement in becoming very good in it (FPS, RTS, etc.) - it's just something people have to learn to deal with. Yes, it's not right that it happens almost 100% of the time, and it's totally not right that IW will never do anything about it to regulate all of this hacking. "It's just something people have to learn to deal with."

Hackers tend to be people who have had enough of being the victim of the hackers before them. They give in to their urge to revenge their in-game deaths by hacking against those same hackers. I assure you, it will get you nowhere. I've been there. I've done that. It never changes, and you're not going to end it just because you can hack 'better' than the other hackers. What good is hacking against hackers going to do if your hacking is also ruining other people's games? What good is it to hack if your personal skill degrades because of it?

For me, I realised it too late that I had begun to rely on hacking to play. I remember having turned off the hacks for a few games, and I couldn't even see anything - and this was in MW2 (MUCH easier to see than MW3). I was completely blind to my environment and I was getting raped left and right. Having realised this, I began to play again without hacking, promising myself to only use it when there were other hackers in the game. Nothing changed. I went right back to hacking and eventually got banned from MW2.

It seems that hack programs, these days, have things that will prevent detection of any sort, and will allow hackers to avoid being banned, which means that, no matter how much you report someone for hacking, IW will not have any proof of them hacking. Even so, with the world of hacking so easy to obtain, I urge you, members of sM, to avoid hacking at all costs. I know that you're better than that, and that you can become amazing players without using dirty third-party programs and all that crap. Look at me, now! I don't hack, and you all know I get amazing scores regularly. Look at players like Limes, Mist, Finesse, amx, Lil-noobli, Aerosymbis, Hero. They all do amazingly well on MW3 without the aid of some third-party program that ruins the game. You can too.

For those who become victims of hackers frequently, I feel your pain, and I know exactly how you feel. However, please do not give in like I did back in the day. You're stronger than that, and you can do better. Just leave the game, and try to find another game that there are no hackers in. There are still a lot of pure gamers out there ready to face up against you with no help but their own bodies. You can find them, because sM is full of them.

On a final note, if you ever come by a hacker, don't provoke them, don't try to go against them. There's no point in giving them attention that they (1) don't deserve and (2) want. Keep sM clean!

Seems like sM is really growing. Keep inviting your friends from NZ/AUS. We'll becoming a huge group of friends, we will!

This week, the featured player will be sM/` Tingli. She comes from Aus and plays nearly on a daily basis. Be sure to give her some kind feed back - I'm sure she'll give some back in her own way :D :D

So for the first week's "PotW" I've decided to just give it to the person I've played most games with. Officers can choose the PotW at any point of the week if they want to.

Don't think of it as a competition, but it does show who's shining the most =)

Hey there! My name's Marty! You'll probably recognise me as Toast.
Just want to welcome all the new members, and wish you all a late Merry Christmas. I made this group/clan so that all of my friends who play MW3 can just get together and know of each other. Sometimes it's hard to find players from NZ seeing as most hosts are Aus (which sometimes isn't too great for us xD)

I hope we can all get along. If there are any problems, please let an officer know. They'll have final judgement on it =)
