Journal Entry # 3

"It happend so fast. My wife bitten, the hosipital overthown by ravenous people, the execution and murder of my family. Alone and confused with the few remaining contacts I had left alive, we sought survival. Only weeks into the chaos, we had seen things we would never dream of, done things we never thought we could possibly do. Friendships, acquaintances and gerneral person-to-person courtesy no longer remain. Violence is the new way to survive, the new way of life. Mercy has no place here, we've seen and experienced what mercy cannot accomplish anymore. We take what we want and we kill when we have to because that is the way. These events and experiences have turned men mad, have made them rise and fall, have eaten away at our souls. But we do what we must to survive. We keep pushing in this world that has made us scum of the earth. Scum of this zombie infested earth."
