First the good news: Today, we are celebrating 5 years of Schweinepriester. We wish we could make some kind of event out of that. But please be ensured that we are still the same pack and enjoy gaming very much. We successfully renewed our infrastructure and our new TeamSpeak server enjoys great popularity.

However, we went through 12 eventful months. Of course, there were good and bad events. It doesn't go unnoticed that for some of us priorities have changed: We only rarely show up simultaneously in TeamSpeak, for instance.
In other words: We got a lot of stuff to do in our real lives.

Which leads to the bad news: You might have already noticed that our TF2 server has gone. It won't come back unfortunately. THIS IS NOT AN APRIL FOOL HOAX.

There are several reasons for this decision which we made last Monday:
It has broken again, the demand dropped significantly, we haven't played TF2 for a long time, there will be no new maps; and last bot not least: It's only consuming our money and our time.

To be completely honest: We feel like the TF2 community - including us - is dead. It was fun for a while, but it gets monotonous after a few thousand of hours. It is always the same and there will always be people ruining the fun. Either Valve with their updates or other douchebags.

Despite these bad news, we hope that our project Schweinepriester itself continues to exist for a long time. At least another 5 years would be nice. Remember we still got our YouTube channel and our TeamSpeak.
