Goodbye From Rust - US Central #1

Greetings ladies and gents,

It has been a couple days since the server was updated. I am little ashamed that I kept silent and didn't say anything but the main reason why I didn't announce anything was because I was busy with another community. There was a lot of debate on whether my staff and I wanted to continue hosting servers for Rust in hopes of gaining players or move on. It was an extremely tough decision because of all the amazing moments and players we had on our server. It's without a doubt one of the most cherishable communities I've ever created. However, I decided to move on and say goodbye to everyone who has stuck with us since the very beginning and everyone else who joined our server at one point. Rust has been an amazing opportunity by teaching me a thing or two on creating a thriving gaming community. I had great moments with many players and made ever lasting bonds with some of you (you know who you are), but it's time to move onward with my life and use what I learned from Rust to create a different community for ARK: Survival Evolved. Even though I am moving on from Rust, I still plan to stay in touch with as many of you as possible via TeamSpeak or Steam. I would like to thank everyone for the unforgetful moments I had while running this community. I will never forget you guys. The server will stay up until 6/26/15.

Announcement - Server Wipe on 5/21/15! New Map Seed & Info Regarding Future Wipes + More Important Info!

Recently we have wiped the server on 5/21/15 due to things getting stale. Along side with the wipe, we generated a new map seed as well to give a fresh start. It is evident that wipes are not as popular on Experimental as they were in Legacy. As a result, we will only wipe during major updates that require it. This way players won't have to feel like their time is wasted whenever they hop on. However, if there a demand for a new map seed before a major update or anything else, we will take that into account as well. As always, if you have any suggestions, don't be afraid to post a comment in our Suggestions Discussion Board. We are always hearing you guys out and strive to be community driven.

As a side note, if you haven't been voting for us at Top Rust Servers [toprustservers.com], please do so as it bumps our rank up and allows for more players to check out our server. On top of this, you benefit as well through various rewards offered for your time.

A Word from the Owner

The switch from Legacy to Experimental has been rough but that never stopped us from hosting a quality server for our loyal community. Everyday we learn and try to better ourselves for whatever the future has in store. As with any gaming community, the most difficult part is getting enough players to join the server so that it causes a snowball affect and more players decide to join as a result. Experimental Rust has been a struggle because unlike Legacy, it has been getting constant updates. Not nearly enough compared to the time when we first launched our Experimental Rust Server, but enough to keep myself and the staff vigilant. We will strive to update the server as soon as the updates hit. That way we can maximize the window of opportunity for new players to hop on and experience our server. It's tough running a server, especially one for Experimental Rust, but we will do our very best to keep our community satisfied.

I would like to give a shout out to all my admins who have given so much of their time and effort in maintaining the servers and helping our players. Without you, this wouldn't be possible. However, without our players, there wouldn't be a purpose for the admins nor myself to be here. So thank you all for choosing us as your daily Rust community.

Need helpful, Loyal players, want to become pvp GRAND master. and build awesome rust clan that dominates servers like Genghis Khan... without being mean tho :)
