Players can select VIEW in top left corner of Steam client, click servers and add the IP from there.
OR Search for "RIV4LS" from the in-game server browser!

*Please note that just because the admins are not shown as 'online' via steam does not mean they are not actively watching via remote console or simply set to show as being offline. Regardless of in-game activity, the logs (chat included) are gone over a minimum of 4x a day by at least two different admins.
You can always message me (shine) directly via Steam for urgent matters.

With >7,000 hours logged into ARK personally, 3 iterations of this server so far and so very many helpful friends aiding me with advice from their own experiences in the game I have put forth my best efforts in balancing the gameplay at RIV4LS.

Server Wipe Scheduled for Dec. 16th.

As the 'alpha' tribes have duked it out and the winners are clear, leaving mostly waste in their wake it has been decided to wipe the servers clean again. Some bans have been applied to players that intentionally broke the server rules during this last cycle.

Hope to see everyone back for another fresh start! I am thinking of providing carryover items (skins only, no resource/weapons/etc) to the winning Alpha tribe from wipe to wipe to give credit and notice to their past victories. Let me know what you think in the suggestions thread!

RECRUITING ADMINS, TESTERS AND MODDERS!

So the scope of the project this time is going to be much bigger than the last, with the addition of server clusters and upload/download of items/dinos/players.

-I currently am seeking people to fill Admin positions to help maintain balance and integrity of the server(s). This will require an aptitude for dealing with people as well as a considerable amount of disposable time to spend on the server. Apply to me (shine) directly via Steam or Discord.

-We need Testers to verify integrity and stability of the server, its mods and to make sure everything in general is working as intended. This is mostly a pre-launch test. Again, apply directly via Steam or Discord.
If you are not a 'verified' Tester but come across some incongruency with the server then please add me on Steam or find me or another Admin in the server Discord.

Seeking Modders! As stated above, the scope of this project is intended to cover a much larger audience on multiple servers. This comes with the bonus that when we have reached our stretch goals from donations to aquire/maintain at least two more servers (The Island / SE) to add to the hive, we will be looking to hire/employ our modders on a more permenant basis.
Please note that this will apply to Modders who have been working on this project from early on and will be more of a donated reimbursement/with continuance than an employment.

Hey all I remember the months and months and possibly years ago I used to play on this server... the only reason I stopped was because my computer couldnt handle the game... It still cant, but I remember taking to Shine and possibly I remember applying for admin.

Let me know if you remember me! I used to be called either Guide or #GUIDE or FIO or headlessguide or Lil_Lich I dont remember what one I had back then

You can connect by searching Unofficial from the server list and then searching for RIV4LS, you can connect directly by loading a web browser and navigating to steam://connect/167.114.210.229:19016 and launching the game selecting 'steam client bootstrapper', or going to 'VIEW' in the top left corner of the steam window and selecting servers> favorites tab and adding the ip 167.114.210.229:19016.
