Rise Against is an American punk / hardcore band from Chicago, Illinois. The group is known for her political activism. Many songs have ideological issues as content. In particular animal rights are important to the band: Two of the members are vegans and the other two vegetarians. They support the organizations PETA and Sea Shepherd.

Rise Against ist eine US-amerikanische Punk/Hardcore-Band aus Chicago, Illinois. Die Gruppe ist bekannt für ihr politisches Engagement; viele Lieder haben weltanschauliche Themen als Inhalt. Insbesondere Tierrechte sind der Band wichtig: Zwei der Mitglieder sind Veganer, die anderen beiden Vegetarier und sie unterstützen die Organisation Peta sowie Sea Shephard.

Rise Against have headed online to tease the fact that the band is back in the studio working on a new album for 2014, Loudwire reports.

The teaser starts off with the year 2001 and proceeds to count down each year in which they released albums with snippets from the big songs from those records before finally hitting 2014, followed by the words "New Album." A quick shot of a guitar being struck, followed immediately by a wide shot of the individual band members sitting around the studio and concluding with the words "Coming Soon" suggests that the wheels are currently turning on new music.
