the equalizer and the escape plan must be one again

this group is for if you are pissed off about valve trying to balance a perfectly fine weapon
the equalizer is a soldier melee weapon that used to grant extra speed and damage the closer your healt got to 0 with a base damage of 33 on full health scaling up to a maximum damage of 107. the speed boost the equalizer used to give was from the original speed of the soldier to almost as fast as the scout.

the main thought behind the equalizer was a high risk high reward situation where when you had low healt health you could rush towards the enemy in hope of killing him or getting killed yourself.

the problem now is that valve decided to split the equalizer into the equalizer which kept the damaging attribute and the escape plan which kept the speed attribute.
this split has made it so that the equalizer is nearly useless since its only strong on low health and requires you to get close to the enemy with the normal speed of the soldier which will mean that the equalizer wielder will usually die.
the escape plan on the other hand will only be helpfull for escaping from certain death situtions because the base damage of 65 will usually result in the wielder dieing before killing the opponent.
