Red Cobra Gaming Community

Greeting Fellow Red Cobra members.

As some or most of you know, the Red Cobra community has changed, the original founders of our group have gone off to pursue other dreams and aspirations. Big changes are afoot in this group, and we are only getting started. We have already implemented the change to the clan tag. The leadership voted for a change, and we came up with }RCG{. We know it isn’t the original, but it is close. We chose this tag because it reflects the legacy of the group, but at the same time it freshens it up, and makes it new again. Our hope is that everyone can accept this change, and the other changes to come.

We will be upgrading our website soon with all new content, including a real forum with multiple categories for discussion and help. We will have a classified section for posting gaming, or pc related items for sale or donation. We will have a paypal account that can accept donations from anyone that wants to help. There will be an event calendar set up so you can plan on attending certain events such as specific game nights, administrative meetings, and other discussions put in place by the leadership of the group. We will have a news feed with various things from gaming related news stories, to tutorials, and even a showcase for certain things such as player of the week, and other such content. We have a great TeamSpeak 3 server, and discord server with multiple channels for various different games. Please feel free to come in and say hello.

The future is looking bright for our group. We are taking on new members already and we hope to continue to grow. There will be multiple incentives to joining us in the future. We will be conducting giveaways, and raffles, and even contests and prizes for certain things later down the road. In order to provide these things, we will need help. We have a paypal account that pays for everything in this group. That paypal will be used to purchase the items we give away and raffle off to the members. The more people that donate, the better the prizes will be, and the more often they will come. Please understand that we are not asking for money from anyone. Anything donated to the group will all be directed back to the group in the form of these prizes, giveaways, and contests. Keep an eye on our social media accounts, as well as our steam group, and our website once it is done for details about all of the events we have planned for the future.

As with any group or “clan”, there will be rules and regulations for participation in the group. These rules are set forth to help everyone, and to keep our community clean and incident free. Failure to adhere to these rules and regulations will result in discipline up to and including termination from the group. We have multiple officers that are appointed to handle disputes, complaints, or violations of the rules and regulations. These people are the administrative structure of the group, and they were appointed because they have all been members of the group for a very long time and they care about the well being of our community. We will have all of these rules and regulations posted in numerous places throughout our social media accounts, our steam group, and on our website in the future. The Red Cobra Gaming community is on the rise again, but we need your help. We need our members to participate with the group. We want to play games, and have fun with all of you. Our members are the lifeblood of this community and without all of you we will fail. We look forward to seeing all of you in game soon!
