Servers restored after downtime

Update: Valve and multiple news outlets are reporting that the RCE exploits were a false alarm: https://twitter.com/CSGO/status/1253075594901774336. Based on this I'm going to bring the servers back up as there doesn't seem to be any threat to server operators at this time.

Shut down the servers after the leak as a precaution while we figure out what the threat is for server operators. Players should absolutely NOT launch TF2 until a statement from Valve. Probable RCE exploits are in the wild at this time, see here.

At work when I found out so this is probably old news by now. For updates on the leak, I suggest checking reddit. Will update when the coast is clear and the servers go back up.

SERVERS BACK UP

The servers are back after about a month of downtime. To make up for it, I've given everyone that has ever donated (418 players) THREE months of VIP. I spent the downtime upgrading the server os, ssd, stats, and bans.

Upgrading the stats system proved difficult as the community version is no longer maintained so I've moved over to gameme which has more features. Learn more about it and the chat commands.[www.gameme.com]. I'll get mvm and stt on there soon.

I've upgraded bans to SourceBans++. There's a website now and you can view communication bans and protest bans if that's your thing.

I'm moving from the domain name tf2randomizer.com to randomizer.tf cause it saves 4 characters. You can type connect randomizer.tf or connect mvm.randomizer.tf to join the servers. The main site and new donations will be paused while I rebuild it.

Its dead. Its over. No one cares. Admin, owners devs have ten billion childrens, wife which needs attention every 1 second, also ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ 100 dogs and etc. NO ONE CARES!
