When you mark your thread as closed, it's hidden from the subreddit front page. This should further prevent entries after it's closed. It also makes it easier to see the open giveaways.

Less clutter. You must have the subreddit style on for this to take effect.
Reminder to those who mark their thread 0 points, please change the flair to closed when you are done. I see a lot of 0 point threads that are completed but not marked closed.

Also you do not need to state the minimum requirements in your posts. The minimums are enforced automatically, which is why you can't see all of the comments.
