After a long time, I finally implemented some changes to the Discord server and started inviting some of you.

I hope you will all make good use of it and form lobbies. The server currently has a HLTV bot, music bot (FredBoat) and an interesting channel. Feel free to check it out for yourselves.

Departure

I am off for my next mission/field assignment. This one is particularly troubling and it has given me pause to reflect.

I truly believe that our vision statement is worth striving for. I hope that by being a part of this little community you also believe (at least to some extent) in our purpose. Furthermore, I hope you will meet gamers who are like-minded. Both as individuals and as a group, we can support, encourage and foster a spirit of playing nice within the gaming community.

I sincerely wish all of you the very best in your endeavours and hope to catch some games together in the future. Till then Good Luck and Have Fun!

Dear All,

I hope this finds all of you well and gaming happily. It's been a while since my last announcement and I thought this would be a good time for another.

Since it's arrival to Steam and now being Free-2-Play I figure that quite a number of you would be interested in taking it up. As such, I created a PlayNice clan within the game. Links posted below.

If you are interested in joining up please post your username in this announcement. Also express your interest if you would like to contribute in helping to manage the clan.

I have enjoyed my brief time back home as well as been able to once again hang out online with you guys in Discord and CS:GO. However, I will soon have to head off for my next mission. Which will keep me away from home and Steam; for one year. Till then I hope you guys continue supporting Dimsim (and the group) in keeping the PlayNice spirit alive.

Dear All,

First and foremost a Happy New Year to all of you and your loved ones!! Here's wishing you all the very best for 2019.

Secondly, I am still away at the moment - on another aid mission - and the ISPs in this country have blocked Steam -_-. I am typing this while on break in another destination. Still, I hope you guys are all keeping up the PlayNice spirit and having a blast together.

I hope to be back in Aus during the later half of this year and would definitely like to catch-up with you all and put in some game time together. Till then please continue to give Dimsim and the team your support and be great ambassadors of PlayNice!

Hello PlayNice,

If you were thinking the PlayNice group has been strangely inactive lately, or forgot we existed, then there is only me to blame! Group founder Cole ‘Coleson’ Cole is overseas saving the world in Central Asia, leaving the management of our group in my incapable hands.

I’m trying to carry on the mission he left behind, building our brand of respectful fun in online gaming. Unfortunately, I’m a Counterstrike addict with no time for the trending games of the time.

Dear All,

I trust this announcement finds you doing well. As some of you may know, I will be away, because of work, for the next 6 months or so. Meaning no CS:GO and limited TeamSpeak access for me.

In my absence, I have left you guys and our little community in the very capable hands of dimsim (Admin) and the moderators/officers. I hope all of you will continue to Play Nice and grow our small community with more well-mannered players.

In that spirit, I bring you The GLHF Pledge by AnyKey, Intel and Oculus (thanks to Grafton for sharing this!).

It is a simple pledge, and sort of a refreshing reminder for us all to remember why we formed this community and our goals. In a way, it also goes back to basics, highlighting the intent and meaning behind the words 'GLHF'.
