Social gaming is best gaming

I've created this group so that we can plan LAN dates, locations, games and snack types for our LAN parties. Leave messages or coordinate group chats so that we can better plan these parties.

In case you're new to the whole thing, our LAN parties are free-entry BYOC (bring your own computer), with everyone chipping in for snacks and drinks, possibly even a meal such as pizza. Ordering pizza is a realistic possiblity, so spare cash should be kept on hand. If you have any extra Ethernet cables, power strips or switches you can bring, those would be extremely beneficial as well.

We are open to free game suggestions, or possibly games without DRM, such as retail or games from Good Old Games (link below). Console gaming might also be a thing, but we would need enough controllers/consoles and games that support local multiplayer

Confirmed LAN parties will be posted on the schedule and should show up instantly, or the next time you start Steam.

If you want to invite local friends to future parties, make sure you ask them to join this group to figure out the details and keep updated.
