Thanks for the support! I trust that the list is in good hands at the PCGW, and I hope the community will continue to do good work alongside them.

I hate to do this without the actual admins' permission, but I decided to edit the group image as well as the group description. The image comes from The Big List of 3rd Party DRM on Steam (thanks Cheeseness!) and the text was edited to be more clear of the group's purpose without uncited statements or other bias.

If there's something wrong with the changes, please let me know.

EDIT: Yup, EA is just stupid and decided to put up an incorrect EULA on their pages. I love how Jim Sterling got all the blame. As put by the PCF director: "Fucking Internets."

Yes, it's that wallet-emptying time of year again!

It's always great to be able to get so many games at once, but remember not to let your guard down! In the first day alone I've seen numerous instances of my own friends buying games on impulse and later seeing that they bought a DRM-ridden game. Needless to say, buyer's remorse was imminent.

I encourage everyone here to be extra careful when purchasing games. The more we make such mistakes, the more we look like the Modern Warfare 2 boycott.

1. Check the store information
2. Check the DRM list (see group links)
3. Check the game's forum, particularly if the game is new (which often takes a while to be discovered)
