RIP Xfire

Well I'm fairly confident now that the Xfire chat client's servers have gone down as well. So all of it is finally gone. From now on we primarily communicate through steam and likely use the Nova Genesis group chat to hold RPs.

Once again, please make sure to keep up with clan and canon developments at http://novagenesis.shivtr.com/ on a regular basis. The URL is also linked to the sidebar of this Steam group page.

You may begin transferring your old RPC, database or story posts to the new forums in their appropriate sections at any time if you have them, or if you do not, feel free to ask me instead as I should have most of the important stuff on hand.

We announced the closure date to be June 12th, but that was for the webservers. The Xfire client services will be terminated at any day or time in the very near future.

so yeah, the chat client will be dying after all, some time soon. i guess we'll be doing all the chats here, then.

Did you ever hear the tragedy of Darth Plagueis "the wise"? I thought not. It's not a story the Jedi would tell you. It's a Sith legend. Darth Plagueis was a Dark Lord of the Sith, so powerful and so wise he could use the Force to influence the midichlorians to create life... He had such a knowledge of the dark side that he could even keep the ones he cared about from dying. The dark side of the Force is a pathway to many abilities some consider to be unnatural. He became so powerful... the only thing he was afraid of was losing his power, which eventually, of course, he did. Unfortunately, he taught his apprentice everything he knew, then his apprentice killed him in his sleep. It's ironic he could save others from death, but not himself.
