Unofficial NI Steam Group

The original owner of this group left NI about 15 years ago (!). He gladly relinquished group ownership to me (yay!) so I can now spruce the place up a bit.

There are going to be some changes around here, seeee?

• If you're a long-time-ex-NI employee: please feel free to stay!
  
• I've changed the group logo to something that will not raise the hackles of NI branding.
  
• I am changing membership to Restricted (approval required). This is primarily for security reasons, in order for members to feel some degree of confidence that groupmates are who they say they are.
  
• I am adding a group roster (available to members only). I don't know half of y'all's real names and that kind of sucks. I am unilaterally filling in the names of everybody I clearly recall — if you wish to remain anonymous, please let me know, otherwise let me know your real name, fill it in the roster yourself, etc.
  
• I will accept volunteers for group officers. If there are more than a few, I reserve the option to attempt to hold an election.
  
• I am going to probably propose a few more rules over the next few weeks to hopefully keep all of this low-key and running smoothly. I am presently operating under the expectation that nobody will object. If you do, please speak up!

• Request membership via Steam.
  
• If you are presently an NI employee, request membership via the Teams channel[teams.microsoft.com]. Please provide your Steam username.
  
• If you are an former employee, make a post on the Membership forum. (Once membership requests are disposed of, they will be moved to a members-only forum.) Please provide low-key verification of employment. A Perforce username (if you held Perforce access) is good. A real name is good too. If you have friends who are group members, they can also vouch for you.
