how many of you REALLY know the truth of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R. games? how many really know what started it? who really followed it before its inital release?

probably less than more, but the fact is, you can still see what GSC had promised us just by typing STALKER ALPHA in google! youll get videos, and even Downloads! there IS an alpha build that GSC had released, its everything they had on stalker up to october 2004, and GEEZE!! when you see all the content they waxed from the game it kind of makes you wonder... considering how all the retail stalker games are similar and vary in location, missions, NPC's, Mutants, A-Life and more.
ok back to subject.

this is what they showed us previous to the games release, about 2 years before release, and those of us who followed this since it was initially introduced publicly, here is a GREAT video you can even watch in 1080p quality that shows quite a bit of things, namely locations, and from what it looks like, more photorealistic enviroments, along with having to use a car for transportation over long distances. Could this have been GTA/Doom/Farcry on steroids all thrown together? its quite possible. check out the OLD Stalker video here on youtube.

and for those who think that it cant be done, or is wondering "why havent any modders put everything into the retail as a mod? considering they released editing tools AND the 2004 build?" well theres an answer for that too!!!

CHEERS to all the AWESOME modders out there, and the AWESOME mods theyve made for stalker!
if it werent for them Stalker wouldnt have seen its prime in our lifetime at least!

This is something in the works, a mod, on the crytek2 engine i believe if im not mistaken. it is the first stalker game form what ive concluded, modded and put into the crytek 2 engine, and i dont think words could say enough...
