I mean, it's not true IRL, but its true in video games. In valve games especially, the best classes in games are fat, or heavily armored. Such as the heavy, or the combine, or the people in CS:S, but the people in there, not only do they have great weapons, but they are some of the most used because of this.

Have you ever seen people play as the skinniest character the most? It happens in Team Fortress 2, but that is because the scouts and other classes move faster. They can capture things faster, but the heavies are for defense, and depending on the map they can be worthless.

There have been skinny characters of greatness, too, such as Gordon Freeman, the spy from tf2, or the main character of MineCraft.

Another thing:

@GamePro : The "brownest era in gaming" is nothing, honestly -- interesting article, you put up good points, but this really isn't the brownest era.
You said that there are so much "post-apocalyptic brown" kind of games, where theres lots of brown, and honestly there's more brighter games than most years. For instance, look at games like Taohu, and Angry Birds, look at them.. they have tons of bright colors. Good article though, had fun reading it.
