Unravelling the mysteries of The Old City: Leviathan

Here's our homebase for organizing in-game texts. Figured it'd simplify things if we all had the ability to communicate with each other in endeavoring to complete the project.

It seems like we're all fine with divying up the work. It won't be that much, really - though it seems our aims have expanded beyond just Solomon's Notes, to include all written texts in the game. I say if we want to make sure we get everything, we should plan to work through it all on one go rather than having to go back through over and over.

This is particularly the case when it comes to getting all of Jonah's spoken dialogue transcribed. Someone with a software and a capable computer would need to play through the whole game (with subtitles enabled) and screen + audio capture all of it. Then we'd each go through sections of the video and transcribe what we found. Easy enough to split between multiple people, if we all have a copy of the video.

There are playthrough videos on YouTube, but I'm not sure if they're any good (i.e. complete and not missing any dialogue), plus unless they have subtitles on, it'll be a whole lot more difficult to match up everything that's said.

I presume as with most game engines, there is a debug mode that we can engage to make sure we don't miss any secrets or texts, using noclip. That'll be more relevant to those of us who are going through to just get the text (journal entries, etc).

In the end, I think we can do this, particularly since it seems I'm not the only one serious about going through and transcribing it all. It'd be a great book, something to refer back to often. Let's go big, and get it all. All text, spoken or written.
