The story of Noah's Ark is told many different times, even before and after the Bible version. One of these versions is from The Epic of Gilgamesh where Ziusudra(Noah) helps Gilgamesh. Gilgamesh is written about in The Sumerian Kings List along with kings reigning back from ~250,000B.C.

Now one important part would be what's the earliest evidence of a king we have, then we can get an idea of where the real kings start.

and if you scroll up half a dozen names you'll see "En-me-barage-si" who is the king we have earliest records of...giving a lot more credibility to events written during/after Enmebaragesi like things during the reign of King Gilgamesh such as The Epic of Gilgamesh...which leads us back to Noah.
