Materal Proxies Help Center

This group is a Help Desk for Modders on the Source Engine that want to use the Material Proxies features allowed by VMT files.

Material Proxies are very powerful and allows the creation of a lot of interesting addons or materials that use non-static textures, however, it might be complicated at first and not many people know how it works.

Having worked a lot with, mainly on my own and on non-documented properties of them, I decided to open this little group for you, Modders, that want to do a mod that uses Material Proxies (and therefore, RNG). Feel free to ask your questions here :D, I'd be happy to provide support.

Hello, i'm trying to make animated overlay for cs:go map, the problem is that it doesn't start from frame #1, so sometimes it start from 1st, sometimes from different, and it break my plan. Could you help?

hi Ellie im a bit begginer in make RNG no want a pure RNG just simple,but is something complicated i always get a line error i do steps how i see but questions are little confused for me i have 10 skins i want they change en every map i play i don't know me error can u help me a little?
