Music And Gaming Festival

The Music And Gaming Festival, or MAGFest, started in 2002, and has grown to tens of thousands of attendees. It is a weekend-long party, dedicated to the appreciation of various kinds of gaming and video game music. MAGFest takes place at the Gaylord National Resort and Convention Center, in Maryland, not far from Washington, DC and northern Virginia.

The festival runs 24-hours a day, and offers:
- free-to-play arcade games,
including classic games and modern dance / rhythm games
- console games
- indie games
- LAN parties (BYOC)
- live-action role-playing games (LARP)
- pinball games
- tabletop games
- tournaments for most of the above

Plus:
- charity fundraisers
- chiptunes
- cosplay
- DJs
- dancing in the halls
- film screenings
- jamspace where musicians can come play
(bring your own gear, or share what's already there)
- marketplace vendors
- video game music concerts
- guest speakers and panel discussions, plus so much more.

Remember -- it's not a convention, it's a festival!
