About this Group:

This is a brand new group. I just invited everyone in my friends list. This group may or may not appeal to you. Feel free not to join if this group does not appeal to you (I will not be offended). If you or other steam users agree with the following mission statement and would like to join then please do and spread the word! I have a "mumble" voice chat server that we can use for games that don't have built-in voice chat.

Mission Statement:

A troll-free zone for friendly casual pc gamers who also don't suck at life. We play lots of stuff and are always looking for new games to play. Stuff we play: Left 4 Dead, League of Legends, Battlefield, Killing Floor... pretty much anything fun to play with a group of people, co-op or competative.

Play games with cool people and don't feel pressured into clans or day-long gaming events. We have lives and so can you. Events may consist mostly of impromptu online gaming sessions with everyone getting into voice chat. On special occasions, LAN parties may occur.

Multicultural. Co-ed friendly. Limited vulgarity.

Join if you like fun and aren't a troll. Calling all nine-to-fivers and weekend warriors who don't have a lot of free time and want to make the most of their gaming experiences. Or join if you do have lots of free time and don't care that the rest of us can't play to 2am on a Tuesday.

We have an exclusive "mumble" voice chat server. Server information is provided to members through in-steam chat.

The goal of this group is not to be the biggest. It's more about getting people playing with a certain mindset. Events with this group are geared towards casual fun with easy going people. We play games to have fun--winning or losing.

Game Night -- League of Legends!

Who's interested?!

The plan -- get up to 10 people interested in playing friendly co-op games...with a twist!

We can adjust based on actual number of participants and skill levels but the idea is to set aside some time on a specific date for a night of LoL craziness.

It's fun to see so many people online at random times, and it's not hard to get a good group of 5 people together for an impromptu arranged team vs strangers... And we can still do this :) But...

I was thinking it might be fun to play custom vs to mix things up. Maybe we try out new champs, or even have specific 'themed' matches like Pirates vs Ninjas or Tanks vs Mages or All Assassins, or the never ending pillow-fight that is All-Tanks mode. We could even do crazy stuff with items... but let's not scare anyone away just yet.

Who's with me?! Let me know your interest level in the comments. An official event date is still pending but is slated for a weekend day/evening sometime in October.

I want to organize a friendly multiplayer Game Night. Who's interested? Why you ask? -- because that's how I roll. The theme -- casual fun shenaniganery where points don't matter (or matter the most -- story at eleven).

I need your input...

What kind of games would you be interested in playing with 6+ people?
FPS, RTS, Co-op?

Are there any good free to play games that people enjoy playing?

What new multiplayer games are you excited about? BF3, MW3, Serious Same 3?

What classic titles (doesn't need to be steam game) are worth revisiting? e.g. I have lots of fun running through levels co-op with friends in Serious Same 2nd Encounter.
