As you know, steam is full of scammers. People who like to stay safe behind a screen while pretending to be trust worthy so they get free stuff from you. I am going to tell you how to prevent your items or your account to be stollen.

First: Never go first with people you don't know. If they offer you more money for an item and then they tell you that they will pay with paypal or any other "outside steam payment" after you send the item, don't trust them. It's probably a scam. If they offer you a decent amount for your item, try to get an agreement between you 2. Get a middleman, you can check a list here [steamrep.com], be sure it's the right profile since many people are impersonating those guys.

Second: Never trust a person who tells you to loggin in a site to "get free money" or "get admin", that site will send your username and password to the owner of that site. It usually appears "Fraudulent" when you enter the site, but if the site is well made don't log in. Instead log in on steam on chrome, in the official steam site. When you log in a site that requires steam, it auto logs in that site because steam is already open. If it doesn't, it's fake. That is how easy it is to spot a fake site.

IMPORTANT: If you perhaps think the trade/site is trusthworthy, be sure to RECORD the process, even if you lose your stuff you will still prevent the same to happen to others. Record the visual and the audio, both are important and don't
