They say that a good year is determined by it's spring. And as LAN Damage #8 marks the first event for Spring 2010, let's make it the best one yet!

Can you believe we're up to number eight now? Seems like such a long time ago that we were having our very first event back in 2009. But enough about the past, it's time to look to the future! LAN Damage #8 is on at the usual place on Friday, September 9th, 2010 from 10:00am on! We'll be continuing the vein of last time, with some Alien Swarm and L4D2 action, and anything else by demand.

As usual, please get your Steam games and any other games/programs up-to-date before you come; we constantly have issues with people not having the latest versions of their games, software needing to update etc, and it really slows everything down. People are using Frey's filter to get quota-free downloads (which is an excellent idea), but if you've used it and are experiencing connection problems, remember that you must MANUALLY deactivate it as the way it works means the filtering is persistent even if you shut down your computer. I've had 2 people fix the problem this way, so use it wisely.
