Thinking of re-upping a new server. Plenty of followers have been asking for it. The only way to get it up and running it is to make sure the previous wanna be hacker, (skript kiddie) user insaneiac who I've pitied enough to not report him on legal authorities (due to the fact that he was my buddy long before) to quit trying to ddos'ing the server whenever he pleases. We'll see what's up, thanks for the support and the loyalty Phd's in L4D.

We have a new software editing admin in the Ph.D's in l4d, he was the one who took the time to fix the server's glitches and update it. He's. Dr. SystemX.

So glad he came over, cause I'd had that server for 2 months and never truly found the time to dig through it to fix it. :)

I have decided to break the old post down into several smaller posts, particularly pointing out things more thoroughly for understanding accompanied by video demonstrations found on youtube.

--{ The Tank }--

The tank is one of the most powerful infected with a very important role. Some people find this role more difficult because they do not understand how the tank works. Here are some things to keep in mind while tanking.

The tank is the only infected that can quick climb ladders and infected climbables when it is not in ghost spawn mode. Quick Climb Tutorial, keep in mind this is the same method explained with a different game, it works in l4d: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cBcJZchjuQs&feature=related

Do Not Rush: Some people tend to rush and be in a hurry. Try to wait for your allies to assist you and go in when you are prepared.

Melee: If you find you are missing a lot while tanking, keep these things in mind. The tanks arm hitbox is actually beneath the arm, therefore you have to aim higher to hit things. You also need to hold down the mouse button through the swing, because tapping it only works at really really close range. You can turn the camera while swinging just like a survivor with a melee weapon, this increases the range of the hit boxes fanning out from the arm..

Rocks: Tend to miss from time to time? Why is it that you can't quite get the pro rock throws others do? First of all, people do not realise how significant this rock throw can be. It is more useful than thought in any situation if you know how it works. I guess the real question is.. Do you know the different rock throws? I found a little youtube video to help introduce this. Cars and objects: Fail with objects? While keeping in mind how melee works with tank, the higher you aim with a car swing the higher it will go. (Note you can also aim down from ontop of the car to make it bounce into the air, and you do not need to be behind an object to hit it in a different direction. --{ The Bit- I mean Witch }--

There are a number ways to deal with a witch. Depending on her location and the weapons available you can decide which method is best. If you startle a witch as an infected somehow, then bring her to the survivors. She can be startled more than once. If shes bombarded with too much bullet rain though (3-4 survivors shooting at her for example) she may try to escape instead of incapping players.

Crowning: Everyone has their own prefered way to crown, but the idea is to hit every spread from the shotgun blast into her head or chin. Can be done with any shotgun no matter what state the witch is in if you time and aim it perfectly. See below for more methods of crowning without a shotty.

Sniping: If you snipe the witch in the head when it goes back, she will be stumbled. You can use this for knocking her over a ledge, stumbling her while you and your team now has time to empty clips into her before she recovers, and you can even melee her while shes stumbling to make her stumble even more (if using a melee weapon its swing for dmg, melee for stumble, swing.. etc)

I Have been very busy with work, studies, and so on, and thus have not been able to edit plugins or mods yet, so as of right now it's "clean".

I'm thinking it of either turning it into a confogl server, or mod it a bit to make it a bit like confogl (tank and witch each round, and pills only).
