Experience L4D in a new way.

This group is dedicated to all the L4D veterans who still play L4D1. As well as the people that have made custom content for Left 4 Dead. You guys are awesome and help bring new life into a great game that was abandoned by it's company. Every custom map I can find will be hosted on these servers so that people can see and enjoy your hard work and it will not be forgotten.

Like L4D, but tired of the normal gameplay or bored of the normal maps? Wanna play as custom characters? Our servers will allow you to do just that, thanks to all the wonderful authors of maps and skins :)

Then you can join the servers we host and you'll be able to play as many characters, play custom maps before, after and even in the middle of a campaign! 16 players for any game mode. Just download the Server pack which has custom maps, custom characters, custom music and custom items.

Then when you unzip the pack, put it in the addons folder:
(C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\left 4 dead\left4dead\addons

L4D2 Authoring Tools

Just wanted to give everyone a warning for anyone that has the L4D2 Authoring Tools installed. I had uninstalled it and the stupid thing also uninstalled my entire copy of L4D2 and all my addons. That's not supposed to happen. So be sure to copy what files you need before uninstalling the L4D2 Authoring Tools.

Sólo quería dar a todos una advertencia para cualquiera de ustedes que tengan las herramientas L4D2 Authoring Tools instalado. Yo lo había desinstalado ayer y el estupido programa también desinstalado toda mi copia de L4D2 y todos mis addons. Eso no estaba supuesto pasar. Así que asegúrese de copiar los archivos que necesiten antes de desinstalar las herramientas L4D2 Authoring Tools.

L4D2 campaigns

Hi guys,

I like at least 4 people to help me test the pack I've put together for the L4D2 campaigns playable on L4D1. If you are not familiar with official L4D2 maps in the actual L4D2 game, then it would be better if you wait until the test is over.

Basically we will play through the maps (no rushing) and see if you see anything wrong anywhere. And also listen to the music/sounds to see if it plays correctly. And to see if the zombies get stuck anywhere.

You will have to uninstall certain files beofre doing this. And then you will have to install the few packs I've put together (total file size is about 4GB). Let me know who is interrested and I'll give you further info.

Voy hacer unas pruebas para unos paquetes para los mapas de L4D2 y me gustaria por lo menos 4 personas para que me ayuden a probar el paquete jugando en linea en un servidor especificamente para esta prueba. Si usted no está familiarizado con los mapas oficiales L4D2 en el juego real L4D2, entonces sería mejor si esperas hasta que se termine la prueba.

Básicamente vamos a jugar a través de los mapas (nada de rushing) y ver si ves algo malo en cualquier lugar. Y también escuchar la música/sonidos para ver si se suena correctamente. Y a ver si los zombies se atascan en cualquier lugar.

Usted tendrá que desinstalar algunos archivos antes de hacer esto. Y entonces tendrás que instalar algunos paquetes que he puesto juntos (pesa como 4GB). Déjenme saber quien está interesado y te voy a dar más información.
