Stats

As some of you may know, we have been recording certain server activities since March. At the end of every wave, its information is pushed to a database. Overall stats are now available at http://stats.kf2.co. I plan on adding some more charts there, if you have any suggestions feel free to post them.

Additionally, there is a bot designed to respond to questions asked directly in game chat. It can answer various queries written close to natural language about top players. For example, you could ask "Who killed most sirens on Suicidal difficulty?" and the bot would list top three players with most recorded siren kills on Suicidal difficulty.

While the bot is intended to interpret natural questions, it really just looks for keywords. Most information provided by the bot can be queried by asking questions starting with words who or top. The next word determines what kind of stat the bot will look for. It knows about the following stats:

• kills -- find players with the highest number of kills; keep in mind that kills are awarded for dealing most damage (not just last hit) to a zed, including bosses
  
• headshot/pops heads-- find players with the highest number of headshots; note that each headshot does not mean it killed the zed, but rather how many bullets hit zeds' heads
  
• heals -- find players who healed most HP (excluding self heal)
  
• supplies/provides/gives -- find players who gave the highest number of ammo or nades
  
• plays -- find players who played the most waves
  
• survives/wins/beats -- find players who survived the highest number of boss waves; this does not mean the player didn't die before boss wave

The above stats can be filtered by specifying certain criteria. All of them can be filtered by difficulty by specifying it after the stat word, as in "Who survives on hard?"

The following stats can be filtered by perk: kills, plays, survives.

If you want to ask about best results in one game, include the word game or match in the question, like "top heals in one game". This works for headshots, heals, supplies, and of course kills.

Additionally, kills can be filtered by zed type, or zed group, such as "who kills sc", or "who killed most bosses".

Apart from getting the top players, you can ask for your own stats. You just need to say "And me?" after the bot responds to a question. You can also just type me, as long as the question is still relevant. It becomes irrelevant after about a minute.

There is also a status command, which you can use to find out the status of any server (map, wave, players) without disconnecting from the current one. Just include the difficulty after the keyword, as in as "status normal".

You can also easily hop between different server by using the join command. For instance, to move to the suicidal server you can simply type "join sui" in chat.

You may have noticed that capitalisation of characters doesn't matter, neither do special symbols, like question marks.

P.S. There is a small timeout between bot's responses. This is just to avoid server overload, and should not cause any issues. When the bot receives too many questions, it will respond with a random phrase in a different color. Just wait a few seconds and ask again.
