Kep1er (케플러; read as Kepler) is a project girl group consisting 9 members under WAKEONE and Swing Entertainment. The group was formed through Mnet's competition reality show Girls Planet 999. The lineup of the members were announced on 22 October 2021. The group also has a contract that last for 2.6 years.

Their name combines 'Kep', which means catching dreams, and the number 1, which means the nine girls coming together as one to be the best. It is also a reference to the planet 'Kepler'.
Fandom name is Kep1ian. It is a combination word between Kep1er and Guardiang. It was announced at their debut date on January 3rd, 2022.
