I keep running into problems with the visual novel and it really has ruined my motivation to keep working on the programming of it. The last 2 days I have been considering taking a break from doing coding work and just get all my ideas on paper and work on other things for a bit. This does not mean the 2 games are cancelled, I will continue to write their stories and work out mechanics, but I will not connect myself to deadlines for it. For some time I will be re-teaching myself with my various game-making programs so I can start a new project with full knowledge of how to code them and I will work on writing the details of all my game ideas that I have saved. I think I will look into gamemaker or unity first and see how to approach Pmanda's game "Elder Dragon" so I can focus more on the programming aspects of making a game instead of trying to juggle everything at once as a start.
