Australian eSports team founded in 2007

HYPE! is a competitive e-sports organization that was established in 2007 as a Counter-Strike: Source team that won the inaugural season of CEVO-M.

With great success in CSS, HYPE officially became an organization after expanding into Call of Duty 4 in late 2008. Soon afterwards came the release of Call of Duty 5: World at War, a short-lived game that we personally loved and competed strongly in.

Throughout these early years the organization was well known for it's trio of gaming brothers; Noo5e, Ironclaw and Peppers and with the entire team being based in Brisbane, Queensland, our focus quickly turned to LAN events. We regularly hosted COD events at GGF and RLG LANs but have also played interstate at national tournaments.

Our motto is to play competitively as a team and as MATES.
We dabble in giveways, tournaments, e-sports coverage and more.

We fund Australian e-Sports via our website http://hypegaming.net/ with sales of keyboards, mice, mousepads etc.
