Hell Xpress was formed in 1996 as a Quake DeathMatch clan.
SpaceCadet and Falcon are the Co-Founders of Hell Xpress.
We started playing Team Fortress on the first day of release. A full clan history is being written.

In my opinion, Hell Xpress had one of the longest and richest histories in all of Quake. We always played at the highest levels and have won many titles.
HX did not have had the same level of popularity or notoriety as other QWTF (QuakeWorld Team Fortress) clans and I believe that was directly related to our Mplayer origins.
Many overhyped teams came from QuakeWorld to Mplayer thinking they would dominate Mplayer teams and leagues based off reputation alone.
Of all the great Mplayer clans, HX accomplished the most in our matches against these QW teams. Our successful and powerful switch from Mplayer to QWTF was evidence of the fact that Mplayer teams and players were just that good.

Here is a little history behind the Quake leagues on Mplayer.
-- Mplayer had a total of 5 Quake Seasons.
-- The original league was called MHL (Mplayer Honor League) and would later evolve into the MXL. (Mplayer eXtreme League)
-- HX was part of the first 4 seasons of Team Fortress but had moved to QWTF when season 5 started.
-- HX was part of seasons 2, 3 and 4 in the DeathMatch division.

The Champions of these seasons and were HX finished are listed below.

Mplayer DeathMatch - Season Champions

Season 1 Champion – ST (Seismic Threat) - (HX did not participate)
Season 2 Champion – ST (Seismic Threat) - (HX lost in the 1st round to ST)
Season 3 Champion – HX (Hell Xpress) - (HX defeated LoA to win the Championship)
Season 4 Champion – LoA (Ladies of Annihilation) – (HX Finished in 3rd Place)
Season 5 Champion – Unknown – (HX did not participate)

Mplayer Team Fortress - Season Champions

Season 1 Champion – BUH - (HX finished in 3rd place)
Season 2 Champion – cgs (come get some) – (HX lost in the 1st round to cgs)
Season 3 Champion – HX (Hell Xpress) - (HX Defeated BUH to win the Championship)
Season 4a Champion – HX (Low Ping Division) - (HX Defeated TR (Totally Retro) to win the LPB Division Championship)
Season 4b Champion – HX (High Ping Division) - (HX Defeated MOB (Mobsters) to win the HPB Division Championship)
Season 5 Champion – NONE - (This season never came to an official end. The Mplayer league was disbanded before the season ended due to lack of teams. HX did not participate in this league, we had moved to QWTF after Season 4)
