ABOUT How to host a Terraria server

This group was made for anyone looking to host a Terraria server using the ingame multiplayer mode with out the need for VPN software like Hamachi.

Terraria is great fun on your own but i think it’s even more fun with others. The only thing is you need to host your own game, this is very easy over LAN (Local area network) or in layman terms your own home or office network because all you need to do is click Multiplayer from the games home menu, then click Start Server, pick your map and a password then anyone on your network can click Join from their Multiplayer mode, enter your password and there on, but when it comes to hosting a game you would like others to play who are not on your LAN or who are not in your house or office there are some problems.

What you will see being discussed in this group:
1. Why does Terraria Multiplayer not work on my LAN?

Coming very soon:
2. Why cant people connect to my Terraria Multiplayer game online?
3. Why dont I just use a VPN connection or use VPN software like Hamachi?
4. Setting up your computer/server to host a Terraria game
