Consider this announcement your reward for joining the Steam group - you are hearing this information before anybody else. Feels good, doesn't it?

If you were around in November, you might recall our participation in the Extra Life charity event. It's an event where we play games and livestream it for 24 hours straight, all the while raising money for our local children's hospitals. When we did it in November, we raised over $2,000 in total - it was, and still is, a true feather in our cap. We were amazed at what our community could achieve, and our community has only grown since November.

So when we heard that Extra Life was sponsoring another 24-hour game day, we knew we had to go for it again. This time, we're opening it up to everybody who's interested! Instead of the E-Board running the stream for the whole 24 hours, we'd like to host other participants who are streaming to their own personal Twitch pages. This means that nobody has to play games for the full 24 hours (unless you really want to), but the HolyCrossGaming page will be active for that entire period.

The event will be taking place on April 24th (Saturday) at 3:00 PM, and occur until 3:00 PM the following day. You're free to participate for some or all of the event duration, just let us know what's up and we can figure out hosting you!
