one of my favorite verses :)
1:18 For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness; but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.
6:14 And God hath both raised up the Lord, and will also raise up us by his own power.
15:16-19 For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised: And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. Then they also which are fallen asleep in Christ are perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
15:51Behold, I show you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.
Thus says the Lord
“The wise man should not live for his wisdom,
The physically apt man should not live for his abilities,
The rich man should not live for wealth,
But let him who lives boast in this,
That he understands and intimately knows Me,
That I am the Lord, exercising lovingkindness,
judgment, and righteousness in the earth.
For in these I delight,” says the Lord.
What are you living for?
Jesus called out to Peter and Andrew, “Come follow me, and I will show you how to fish for people!” And they left their nets at once and followed Him. Mathew 4:19-20
