Brief Summary:
Started on Saturday, November 17, 2007, StarHub HamFortress 2 #5 is the 5th TF2 server created by StarHub, previously known as StarHub TeamFortress 2 #5 [golddust4ever]. It was the one and only original golddust4ever server which alternated between Goldrush and Dustbowl. Players from Singapore, Malaysia and nearby regions and as far away as UAE and India, converge on StarHub servers. StarHub servers always at full capacity, with 8 servers, 2 PUG, 1 arena, 1 pl4ever, 1 cp4ever, 2 non-crit and best of all 2 golddust4ever servers. StarHub HamFortress 2 #2 being the other golddust4ever server, to popular belief, #5 is the original golddust4ever server before the "Wipe".

Brief History:
Created nearly the start of TF2 grand opening, StarHub HamFortress 2 was just a couple a servers which always had a full house, being a large network for many players from many different regions, StarHub TF2 servers just kept expanding.

But sadly on 26 May 2009, 6AM, StarHub pulled the plugs on the TF2 servers, many noticed, the server was closed down and now most are resorting to playing in E club and Eternalgaming servers.

Unfortunately, these servers are very laggy to some players and accepts high pinged players. After what had happened with our most beloved Golddust server, we planned to set up a server exactly like SH #5 Golddust so we can have a similar if not same experience as we had in SH #5, at least playing with players that most of us treat each other as family(well to most) with same maps, timing and definitely the fun and lovable players that frequent SH #5.

I'm sure all of you were appalled by the sudden disappearance of the Starhub servers.

On 6th June 2009, StarHub TF2 Servers are up again! Alas the excitement was short-lived, many players from countries like Malaysia, Borneo and many others have sudden increases in latency spikes. I guess SH #5 will never be the same again.
