Social progressives just don't want to admit that pedos fit into the LGBTQIA+ movement. They are shunned, feared, and hated by society for unconventional sexual preferences that they have no control over. These preferences are deemed evil based on social constructs and arbitrary laws that magically make people adults at the age of 18, even though humans can go through puberty as young as 11, while on the other extreme apparently the brain doesn't develop fully until around 30. We force our own morals onto these people (just as we do with all laws, even the libertarians' precious NAP is rooted in subjective morality) and make them suffer for something they never asked to be. It is even somewhat socially acceptable to literally suggest executing or mutilating pedos. We classify it as an "illness", just as homosexuality and transgender-ism were once been considered. To "cure" them we present them with options such as psychological re-education.

Barring some great upheaval that leads to a decline in sexual progressivism, (likely caused by some catastrophic event that leads to another coming of a "strong generation"), I can guarantee you leftists will begin to adopt now unthinkable sexual orientations such as this, or other degenerate ♥♥♥♥ like inter-species relationships or people marching for the right to marry and give suffrage to ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ robots. The movements will be slow to garner support, but will eventually gain traction as younger people are raised in an increasingly proud, humanist, and hedonist world where they are told "Everything you desire is natural and ok!" and "As long as you aren't hurting anybody else, every thing is fine!" by parents who completely fail their responsibility of raising strong and mentally stable children. Scientists will no longer classify the conditions as mental illness but instead something normal. Opposition of these movements will be labeled as hateful and bigoted and will eventually fade. This time, we will be the ones "one the wrong side of history". So enjoy the unity while you can
