Hi,

we have had a quite a few problems with our service provider and this last outage threw me over. For all I could see was that the servers are down and there was no support anywhere. Their Facebook pages were full of angry comments and so on.

So well...I decide to move and took a hosting package from Hetzner in germany. I used a week old backup to setup all the software we use and manged to use the old service providers customer area management to point the DNS entries to the new server. All was well for a moment, but it seems that the old server jumped up again and it also reset the DNS changes so that it was pointing back to the old server again.
Well, I used this opportunity to take a newer backup of the site and imported it in the new server.

I've also updated the forums to a new version since it was down anyways, I thought it would not really matter.

I'm still having DNS issues, so from time to time it seems that we are redirected to old site and then to the new site. I will try to move the domain all together, but it involves sending faxes and ♥♥♥♥...

So sorry for the trouble, but this will take a while to sort out.

If you are unclear on what server you are ending up on, the new server version is 4.2.3 and it says so in the bottom of every forum page.

We have recently acquired a dedicated server for =FU=
We hope to run squad on it in the future, but it's also possible to run other games on it. For now it runs infurgency and PR.
