Recently a trade agreement that has been negotiated in secret has been brought into the eyes of the public. This agreement, known as the Trans-Pacific Partnership, is intended to create new jobs.

That is a lie.

The TPP will negatively affect all of our lives in some way. It will allow corporations to bypass most, if not all regulation put into place by the government. The things that will be damaged by this agreement are food safety, the environment, public health, human rights, access to medicine, and internet freedom (it will put in place the same policies the SOPA bill had). This is also something that will be implemented globally.

What you can do is contact your local representative and tell them to vote no. This could be put into place this year and your government will only be able to vote yes or no and will not be able to review it.

There isn't very much awareness being raised on this outside of a few videos by Russia Today and two websites. So please, spread the word.
