The end of 2025

Well, it's almost the end of 2025.

I've never made such sincere posts, especially not any kind of "results" for myself at the New Year. I'd just say, "Happy New Year everyone!" and a few other casual words back then, but now I can tell you, because why not? Let's get started.

At the beginning of January, I decided to make a final decision—leaving Game Jolt for my own reasons and forever. I decided to announce it on my Game Jolt account, "I'm leaving Game Jolt," and also reposted it on my Telegram channel. Well, yeah, I still haven't returned to that site, because, besides what I described in the post below (honestly, I don't remember what happened there, and I don't want to reread it, I'm a little confused about what I wrote under then), I was also prompted by the fact that this will now be a point of no return for me.


I can't say anything further, since what happened in January and February was nothing special or simply personal. But when March finally arrived, I decided to take my art style a little more seriously.

I started drawing the piece "Sunrise," where in three days I was able to create something that I can say is absolutely amazing after so much time, as everything I'd been drawing before was an acquired taste (specifically, from 2023-24, when I started making progress). And so I continued drawing my art without any black linework, focusing more on the light and shadows. That's what I was missing. Basically, here are all the pieces I managed to draw from March until the end of the year. I know, it's not much, but it is. (I didn't stop there, I just spent most of my time working on sprites for my game):


I decided to slightly redesign Felix himself, since I wasn't happy with the previous one, and the art style has changed, wow.

On April 27th, I decided to post what I called an early "teaser"[t.me] for the game, where I simply showed some platformer where someone is stupidly running after us. Honestly, thank God I cut out that platformer segment, because I had some problems with it. Well, anyway, just know that it was and that's it. I'll just keep quiet about the platforming segment.


I don't even know what to say. No, the holiday itself was a blast, everyone gave me nice gifts, and I'm grateful to everyone. Especially the art they drew for my birthday:

Since I closed the Discord server for the third time, I decided it was time to reopen it after six months. Yes, I had three servers at that point, but either they simply died online, or I couldn't handle it enough that I had to delete them. This fourth server has been running for a long time now, and I really hope I don't shut it down again like last time.

I decided to reopen comments in Telegram, as I previously closed it because I didn't really need it initially. But now those thoughts are a thing of the past, because this Telegram chat is now used for comments and there's a bot for that, so if you try to access it, you'll get banned for a minute.

Yes, that very event, which is somewhat important to me. It was such a first-ever discovery and achievement that I was able to open a Steam page. Yes, of course, the game still hasn't been released, as it's being developed at a slow pace for a variety of reasons, but I can say there's some progress now than before. Thanks to one person from the GKProduction server for helping me pay for Steam; if it weren't for him, my path as a developer on Steam would have been closed. After this event, I decided to open the Steam group I had planned and Steam developer page to everyone.

I also decided to open a Twitter page[x.com]. Why? I've been wanting to do this for a long time, actually.

Basically, that's all the results I've accumulated so far. Yes, it might be a bit short; I've simply shared what's happened in my life. I hope next year will surprise you with some pleasant surprises, maybe even a game, and so on. Until then, I wish everyone an early start to 2026!
