Games That Are Fun, Friendly And Safe For The Family

Looking for a solid informational group to post and possibly review family friendly or childrens games. With the ease of the family group sharing library on Steam and with those of us with children, younger siblings or cousins it would be great to have lists of games that have been played or checked to be family friendly.
As a parent there are games I have played through that I can vouch for and there are a few marketed or advertised as kid safe but there are so many games out there now and some may look child like but as we see they are not. Some can be asked about on the discussion groups but a trustworthy group of gamers could add or update information on a games safe level. What age would this game be appropriate for, what issues may it have and are you ok with a younger person playing it?
Sharing valuable information about a game may help you with a future purchase you were on the fence about or a game a child is interested in. Hopefully this will run smoothly and member issues won't be a problem.
