To all of you.
Quite some time has already passed since the final shutdown of Falcon’s roleplay server and in terms of the internet and its ephemerality it already seems to be ages. But still it might never be forgotten by those who found there a home for good roleplay and the very specific spirit of roleplay that evolved in all this time.
Till this day we never gave up on our initial idea of a utopian roleplay environment, better known as the so called “hardcore project”, and we are still bound and determined to realize this within DayZ,hopefully with the support of trustworthy companions. As DayZ moves slowly but steady towards its transition into Beta, we also expect the devs to keep their promise about the release of the server files as also the introduction of modding to the game during that stage.

Even when we cannot give you a guarantee of its success, as all our plans and expectations could still be completely wrong by, the idea of a true roleplay server where like minded find shelter from all the other false opportunities who still promote this but cannot deliver keeps us to hold on to our project.
We know that we are operating already within the niche of a niche and most likely we can never achieve big numbers, but still we want to compensate this with an unique attempt, peculiar for its own approach to ensure the existence of good quality roleplay.
As we carry on in the spirit of falcon, created in the inner circle of good and dedicated roleplayers, we want to introduce DayZ Roleplay to a community with the very basic idea of playing together without any intentions of competition or any malicious actions.
This is founded on the final agreement of all members to avoid griefing under all circumstances. This includes absence of all mechanics that are bound to the “normal” playstyle of DayZ as also several other aspects that will be issued in finer detail during the upcoming development of this project.
We used the time since Falcon’s shutdown productively to focus on analysing our own mistakes from a more distant view, as also we looked into other communities and their approaches on roleplay in DayZ, with the goal to learn from the past and use this experience to improve our future plans.
Yet we might/can not deliver a full bullet proof concept at the time but we are sure to have a solid foundation where we together can create something good, but this is also bound to the successful development of the DayZ Standalone.
The upcoming release of the dayz beta seems to happen in the nearest future and with hopefully the chance to host your own server and the introduction of modding to the standalone, the opportunities and ideas with this, especially focused on the improvement of the roleplay environment seem nearly endless as we bind the launch of our project to a successful renewal of the game.
In difference to before we see us strictly as a “single server-single game”-community and we do not plan to expanse to any other games or retreat from DayZ as long as there is no worthy alternative.
