Looks like Time Warner has bought the game. The address is active and most likely in development. Noone knows when they'll announce anything, but at least we know where the game is going. Heck, it might even get a TV tie-in.

EE has been sold, and is within a week of everything being legal (as confirmed by Matt). The EE site returns nothing at the moment, but polling assets.eartheternal.com returns a whole lot of old and new files. For the site rip, see {LINK REMOVED}

doesn't surprise me the game went down, it sucked so many balls, at least it got better from it's alpha stage, too bad it wasn't that much.
