Hey folks!

Hope you guys are enjoying the new client and all the custom games. In case some of you guys haven't heard, Dota 2 is making some serious transition with the whole new client based on Source 2. Check it out on the link below!

Anyways, the main reason for this announcement is about the guild. As you may know, Dota 2 is currently split between Source 1 client (the old and current one) and the Source 2 client (the reborn one). This means that the queue pool is completely separate and that includes our guild chatroom.

Currently there is no guild feature supported in the Reborn client.

Hopefully the guild will be implemented in the near future. There's a chance that our current guild in Source 1 client won't be transferred to the Source 2 so we might have to make a separate one once the guild feature is implemented. But for now, you will have to keep in mind that our community is going to be split for a while. If you want to stay in touch with the Source 1 guild, you can join the group chat where the bot will continue to relay any messages between the group chat and the guild chat back and forth.

Lastly, any inhouse events we do will be on Source 1 until Reborn is out of beta. Reborn is in a development stage and it is quite buggy. Not everyone is willing to download the huge files nor are they willing to test bugs so we will stay on Source 1 until Reborn comes out of beta.

Now for the second announcement,

For a very long time, I have been doing most of the moderating in this group since I created it. It's not a difficult task, mind you since I do it in a spare time but nonetheless I could use a helping hand. I had mods before but they were no where near as dedicated to dota or the fandom as I expected them to. However, someone who has been with us for a long time approached me the other day and asked to be part of the team. After some thoughts and some assessment questions, I realized that his dedication and involvement with the community made him a good candidate.

Today I will appoint Ember as our temporary moderator. I will keep a close eye on him and teach him the ropes of being a good moderator. I hope to see more of his contribution to our group and see that he represents our community well with the given responsibility.

Greetings digital atheletes and anthropomorphism enthusiasts,

Firstly, I would like to thank all of you for being part of the community. Our group has reached a significant number and I thought it was time for us to do a survey so that I may have a better understanding of our members. Whether or not you are actively part of the group, I would like you to fill the survey! Every piece of data is important to creating a bigger picture and ultimately help me improve the group.

The survey is not long and hopefully not difficult to answer! But even then, to compensate for your precious time spent answering the survey, I will be doing a raffle prize for the survey respondants. The survey will be up until TI5 compendium is released for sale. Once the survey is closed, I will gather the data and give out TI5 compendiums for all the raffle winners! The number of winners will scale with the number of responses. However, to be legible for raffle, you must put a link to your steam profile at the end of the survey.
