In case you are still unaware, the guild has made its return to Dota 2 Reborn as the 'private chat channels'. The chatbot is also back so the Dota 2 chat channel and the group chat channel are united once again. Unfortunately, our previous guild is gone entirely, thus we must build it from scratch.

The in-game chat channel named 'Dota 2 Furs' is NO LONGER ENDORSED by this group.

We are moving to the private chat channel named 'Furries' which requires invitation to join. If you were in the pre-Reborn guild, then you will have to join the new guild again.

We are no longer using the public chat channel 'Dota 2 Furs' for several reasons:

1. 'Dota 2 Furs' is a public chat channel which means anyone can join. This leaves the chat room unmoderated and our inhouse events will become susceptible to trolls.
   
2. Our chat bot will be sending and receiving messages to the in-game chat channel. It would be more appropriate to do so in a moderated channel such as the private chat channel.
   
3. 'Dota 2 Furs' was the temporary chat channel for us to use when the guild suddenly disappeared into the oblivion with the transition to Reborn client. Now that we got our guild chat back, it is only natural that we return to our format.

To join, you must first receive an invitation from the officers. Luckily, I've created a chat bot to do that for us. There are several ways to get an invite.

• Join the group chat. If the bot is present in the chat room, type '!invite' and the bot will immediately send you an invite.
  
• Post your friend ID (found on your dota profile) in the forum linked below and then I will send you one as soon as I can. https://steamproxy.net/groups/dota2furs/discussions/0/458604254419629529/
  
• Simply add me and I'll send you one.

Once you've been invited, YOU MUST FIND AND JOIN THE CHANNEL. There will not be any notification of the invitation but the guild chat will now be available for you to join. You can find it under the 'Private' tab and join it just like you would with any other chat channels. If you are having any trouble, please check out the guide I made in the link below.

With the exciting release of 6.86, we are getting our guild feature back in the Dota 2 Reborn client. Although we have lost our original guild of 500 members, the private chat channel will act as our guild from now on. We will use this private chat channel as our official channel for the future inhouse events.

To join our private chat channel, you first have to be invited. Then you will have to manually join the private chat channel.

I will be sending out the invites. To get an invite, simply post your friend ID in the discussion thread here.

Hello fellow members of Dota 2 Furs,

As you may have noticed, Dota 2 has officially moved on to become the Source 2 based client. And if you have been keen on our community, you may have also noticed the disappearance of our in-game guild. I am afraid that with the fall of Source 1 based client, the guild feature is nowhere to be found in Dota 2 Reborn. So what does this mean?

While it is unconfirmed whether or not the guild feature will return to Reborn, I suspect that the guild will return eventually as Reborn becomes more polished and refined over time. However, it is unknown where the guild lies in Valve's priority list so our precious guild may not return for quite a long time.

To compensate for our missing guild, we have made a chatroom named ''Dota 2 Furs' in Reborn so if you are looking for our guild, please join that chatroom instead while the guild is absent. You should also join the group chat as a mean to cope with the guild absence.

I hope to see the guilds return to Reborn soon. Meanwhile, you may help us bring guilds back to Reborn by making your voices heard at the dota2 dev forums.
